Arrival by car
Via the A5 Frankfurt-Basel motorway; exits between Riegel in the north and Bad Krozingen in the south (exits 59 - 64a).

Arrival by train
Take the Deutsche Bahn to Freiburg-Hauptbahnhof (main station); from there take the Breisgau-S-Bahn to the Tuniberg and the southern Kaiserstuhl with Breisach as the terminus. From Gottenheim and Breisach, continue with trains or buses of the Kaiserstuhl-Bahn to the eastern, northern and western Kaiserstuhl. From Freiburg also DB connections to Riegel; from there continue with the Kaiserstuhl-Bahn.

Arriving by long-distancebus

Travelling by plane
Via the Euro-Airport Basel-Mulhouse (approx. 65 km):www.euroairport.com/de. From there, take the Airport Bus(www.freiburger-reisedienst.de/de/airportbus/fahrplan.php) to Freiburg main station and then continue with the Breisgau S-Bahn. From Karlsruhe Baden Airport(www.baden-airpark.de/startseite.html, approx. 100 km) by train or Airport Bus to Freiburg, from Stuttgart (approx. 200 km) and Frankfurt (approx. 270 km) by train to Freiburg and then on by train.
